Japanese National Sued Toyota for Damages of RMB 5 Millions

On 12 December 2005, Takebe Masayuki, a Japanese national, announced to journalists of China and Japan that he filed a lawsuit in July with the Beijing No.2 Intermediate People's Court against the Toyota Automobile Corporation for patent infringement of his patent on exhaust purification. The first hearing of the case is scheduled in June 2006.
