It is learnt from Copyright Protection Center of China that China computer software copyright recordings have once again reached its peak in its history record in 2006, amounting up to 23095, an increase of 26.45% compared with the same period of last year. In receiving software recording applications last years, various application procedures covering Regulations for the Protection of Computer Software & Measures For Computer Software Copyright Registration proceeded according to normal procedures. Among all the applications, “preliminary proof of software copyright proceeding” software copyright recording applications have taken up most of all.
