In 2004, Beijing Sunshine Oasis Travel Agency (hereinafter “Sunshine TA”) filed a lawsuit before Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court (hereinafter “the Court”) against Beijing 3721 Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Great Wall International Travel Agency (hereinafter “Great Wall TA ”) for unfair competition. The lawsuit was accepted on December 21, 2004. Mr. Futang DAI and Ms. Dandan ZHOU, lawyers from Unitalen Attorneys at Law defended this case actively in the court proceedings on behalf of Great Wall TA.
Great Wall TA succeeded in the lawsuit with the assistance of the lawyers of Unitalen. On June 20, 2005, the Court rendered the judgment that overruled the claims of Sunshine TA.
Unsatisfied with the judgment in the first instance, Sunshine TA filed an appeal before Beijing High People’s Court. On March 9, 2006, Beijing High People’s Court rendered the final judgment based on the full and convincing evidences prepared and produced by Great Wall and Unitalen. The final judgment overruled the claims of Sunshine TA and affirmed the judgment of Beijing No.2 Intermediate People’s Court. Unitalen finally succeeded in defending for Great Wall TA in the lawsuit.
