It is reported that the Symposia of Office of the State IP Strategy Establishment Leading Group and IP Departments of the local Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, held in Hohehot of Inner Mongolia on Dec.4, 2006, released the news that the Central Government is facilitating the establishment of the State IP Strategy, which will be likely to be promulgated in 2007.
According to Mr. Lin Binghui, Deputy Director of the State Intellectual Property Office, the State IP Strategy will contain twenty subjects and a compendium, known as Strategy “20+1”. The subjects cover among others reinforcement of IP protection, perfection of IP protection system, strengthening of IP enforcement, enhancement of training of IP talents and boosting of IP consciousness of the whole society.
