In the first half of this year, administrations for industry and commerce (AICs) at different levels in China have dispatched law-enforcement personnel of totally 1.01 million person-times, and destroyed 1.745 dens producing and selling fake commodities, and investigated into and punished 18,130 infringement cases. According to the State Administration Industry and Commerce, from this January to June, 76 suspected trademark crimes and 88 trademark criminal suspects have been referred to the judicial institutions, respectively 3.2 and 2.3 times of that of the same period in 2004.
